The trip begins with your arrival at the Delhi Airport from where you will be transferred to your hotel to spend the day at your leisure. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel. Delhi is one of the oldest cities in India and has witnessed the change of many regimes over the centuries. Presently, Delhi is the national capital of India, where the Government of India functions. The city’s rich history is reflected in its architectural marvels and diverse culinary experiences. Explore a blend of tradition and modernity, with Old Delhi’s narrow alleys offering a glimpse of the past while New Delhi thrives as a modern metropolis.

Your second day in Delhi covers the major attractions of the city. The day tour begins with a visit to Old Delhi, constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the seventeenth century. You will visit Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, followed by the museum dedicated to him. You will then head towards Jama Masjid, passing by the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Explore the majestic Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. Optionally, enjoy a rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk. Visit Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by Humayun’s Tomb, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, visit the India Gate, a war memorial, before proceeding to Lakshmi Narayan Temple. You will pass by Parliament House and the President’s House along the way. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

The journey from Delhi to Jaipur will take around five hours. Depart from Delhi in the morning, heading toward the vibrant city of Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, is renowned for its rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture. Often referred to as the “Pink City,” Jaipur was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II in the 18th century. Take some time to unwind and enjoy the hotel’s amenities or explore the local area at leisure. You may wish to visit some nearby markets or indulge in local cuisine. The day is at your leisure, offering you the perfect opportunity to soak in the essence of the city and prepare for an exciting day ahead.

Embark on a full day city tour of Jaipur’s key attractions. Start your day with a visit to the magnificent Amer Fort, perched on a hilltop and offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Explore the palace complex, including the Temple of Goddess Sila Devi, Diwan-e-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), Diwan-e-Khas (Hall of Private Audience), Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), and Sukh Niwas. Continue to the City Palace, a stunning architectural marvel and the home of the royal family. Discover the grand seven-storied structure and its beautiful courtyards. Next, visit the astronomical wonder of Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring impressive instruments used for celestial observation. After breakfast, depart Jaipur and drive toward Agra, a journey that will take around five hours. En route, stop at the village of Abhaneri, famous for its ancient Harshat Mata Temple and the awe-inspiring Chand Baori Step-well, one of India’s largest and most beautiful stepwells. Continue your journey to Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its Mughal architecture and historical significance. Visit the grand Jama Masjid, the Buland Darwaza, and the Tomb of Salim Chishti. After exploring Fatehpur Sikri, continue to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, and spend the remainder of the day at leisure. You may want to relax at the hotel or take a stroll around the city. End the day with a comfortable overnight stay.

Begin your day with a visit to one of the world’s most iconic monuments, the Taj Mahal.   • We have daily departures for this trip from March to May and from mid-September to mid-December. You can type in the number of passengers to book a reservation and select a date that is convenient for you. Due to group size, we never cancel a trip once you’ve made a reservation. If you would rather join the group, we will add more travelers on the selected date. You can let us know once you make a reservation or earlier.
