Trekking to Everest Base Camp for two weeks changed our lives and how We see the world. The whole journey from Lukla to EBC and back was an unforgettable experience. Walking through Pheriche, Lobuche, Gorakshep, and reaching Everest Base Camp was amazing. The views of mountains like Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Mount Everest were breathtaking.
Kishor Kulung Rai from Everest Adventures Nepal (P.) Ltd. helped us plan everything perfectly. I realized how helpful and trustworthy he was when we got stuck in Kathmandu during the Covid-19 lockdown. Our guide, Dilip Singh Rai, who is also the Managing Director of Everest Adventures Nepal (P.) Ltd., was the best guide and a great friend. He knows every small detail about the trekking route, the lodges, and the nearby places. He speaks fluent English and shared interesting facts about the mountains, their heights, and when they were first climbed.
What made him special was how he took care of all of us, a beginner trekker, and went beyond his duty to help. Our porters, Abinash and Roman, were also very kind and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trek. Even now, talking to Dilip brings back happy memories. I can’t wait to go back to the Himalayas, trek with Everest Adventures Nepal (P.) Ltd., and have another incredible experience with Dilip as my guide.
