We recently completed a 15-day trek to EBC, including Gokyo, Cho La Pass, and Kala Patthar, and we are excited to share a few tips for those planning a similar adventure. We planned the trip several months in advance and were fortunate to find Everest Adventures Nepal (P.) Ltd. as the representative company for our first trip to Nepal. They customized the itinerary based on our requests, and after several emails back and forth, answering even the smallest details, we finally “sealed the deal.”
From the moment we arrived at Kathmandu airport, we experienced the professionalism and dedication of our travel company’s staff. Our designated trekking guide, Pemba Sherpa, was waiting for us, ensuring that we were worry-free from then on. At our hotel, we met with Dilip Singh Rai( Philip), the Managing Director, who went over every detail of our upcoming adventure, reassuring us that we were in very good hands.
During the 15-day trek, Pemba Sherpa, our guide, made every effort to ensure we enjoyed the experience. He was incredibly attentive to our needs and knowledgeable about every aspect of our journey. We also want to mention our porter, Abinash, who carried our luggage throughout the trip—an incredibly challenging job that we deeply appreciate. Our 15-day trek was exhausting but incredibly rewarding, and we are already planning to return to Nepal—definitely with Everest Adventures Nepal (P.) Ltd.!
Namaste!
